September 27, 2018 – Joining volunteers around the world, Lankford Crawford Moreno & Ostertag LLP’s (LCMO) employees will take part in the inaugural Global Day of Service, a worldwide initiative spearheaded by Ford Motor Company’s Legal Alliance for Women (LAW), the company’s professional organization focused on women in the legal practice. The coordinated global effort will assist organizations supporting the empowerment and well-being of women and girls in their respective communities. During this global day of service, in partnership with Legal Services for Children (LSC), LCMO lawyers will attend a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) training and pro bono clinic in San Francisco with DACA applicants followed by a “Build a Bike” activity where LCMO attorneys and staff will build a bike to be donated to a LSC child. Additionally, in Walnut Creek, LCMO employees will engage in activities benefitting Monument Crisis Center in Concord, CA.
