J. Paul Fanning

J. Paul Fanning specializes in defense of asbestos product liability claims. Prior to joining Lankford Crawford Moreno & Ostertag, LLP, J. Paul was an attorney with the law firm of Thelen, Reid & Priest in San Francisco, California. While at Thelen, he represented Ford Motor Company, General Motors Corporation, DaimlerChrysler Corporation and other clients in asbestos litigation. He was responsible for a docket of over 300 cases.
In addition to litigation experience, J. Paul has significant transactional real estate experience. He previously worked as general counsel for a leading development company; in-house real estate counsel for a national retailer; and real estate associate for a national law firm. He has represented developers, investors, lenders, landlords, property managers and other clients in all types of real estate matters. His real estate experience includes preparation and negotiation of all types of real estate agreements, leasing, development matters, land entitlement, construction, and condominium and homeowner association formation.
J. Paul was a Haiti Relief Volunteer in 2010, recognized by the Florida Supreme Court for exceptional pro bono service in 2007, and President of Port St. Lucie Bar Association (September 2006 to August 2007).
